There are a number of reasons your tapes could be slipping.

1: Too Much Hair Sandwiched Between The Tapes.

There needs to be the right balance of hair to allow the two tape seals to touch and create a tight seal. Too much hair in the section will mean the tape only sticks to the top layer of the hair

2: Too Little Hair Sandwiched Between The Tapes.

This may result in the natural hair not being able to support the weight of the extensions

3: Your section is too wide

Your section of the hair needs to be smaller in width than that piece of tape to allow the two sides of the tape to seal if your section is too wide, water will easily be able to get behind the tape weakening its hold on the hair.

4: Messy sectioning.

If the tape tabs aren't correctly aligned and have not been stuck together properly they are unlikely to stay in place. they will also be much harder for the client to look after, resulting in poor brushing and washing techniques that can lead to the hair extensions slipping.

5: Oily Roots

If the hair has not been cleansed prior to application this can interupt the adhesive process, you must clarify and wash hair before applying tape in order for the adhesive to grip correctly

Yes, the extensions can be coloured by professional hairdressers.

We dont reccomend bleaching your hair extensions, if you do decide to lighten we strongly advise to seek professional help.

You will need to have your tape extensions moved up every 8-10 weeks, depending on hair growth. try not exceed the 10 week mark.

For your weft extensions 8-10 weeks for your move up is reccomended , with weft you can go longer but the weft itslef could become very heavy on such section, so try not exceed the 10 week mark

Your trained stylist will be able to remove the tape extension with an oil based Removal Spray/soloution, without causing any damage to your existing hair.

Wefts can be easliy removed by cutting away at the thread that your stylist has used to sew the weft in with, it is not reccomneded to remove by yourself.

It is very important to use salon quality products on your Extensions.

We reccomend using any moisture based products as long as none of the conditioner or treatments touch your tape as this can cause slippage. see hair care instrucions for more info.

Stay away from products that contain high protein and sulphate contents, this will cause the extensions to feel dry
